Multi-User Cases

As cases get larger, it becomes more important to have multiple examiners working on the same case at the same time. With Autopsy, you can create multi-user cases that allow you to see the results that your fellow examiners found in real time.

The following are needed for a multi-user environment:

• Central PostgreSQL database.
• Central Apace Solr server.
• Central Apache ActiveMQ messaging server.
• Central storage.
